Home Premium 64-bit "not supported."

Whenever I try to install Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1, I get a pop-up
message after clicking 'next' the first time. It states, "You are not running
on a supported operating system. Please see Microsoft Virtual PC help for the
list of supported host operating systems."

Then it continues like it's going to install only to see "The wizard was
interrupted before Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 SP1 could be completely
installed.

"Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time,
please run the installation again."

Should this be happening? If not how do I get around it.

Yes, that's correct. Neither the Home Basic edition nor the Home Premium
edition of Vista is officially supported as a host for VPC 2007. However, it
will work fine.
