| | XP Pro Host, VP 2007 SP1, Win 7 Beta having network issues Hi Everyone, When I finished my initial install of Windows 7 Beta on a Virtual PC (1Gb of RAM, 16+ GB disk), everything looked good... I downloaded and installed Kaperskey AV for Win 7 Beta and I started having network problems. 1. Duplicate IP Address detected errors 2. IE stopped working (claiming DNS problems). I jumped through several hoops and was finally able to uninstall the AV program but the network errors (the second one anyway have persisted). Also of note, when I go into the Device Manager in Win 7, all looks good except something called "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface" which is getting an error 10 (cannot start). Any ideas? Host system is a Core Duo laptop running Windows XP Pro SP3. 2 GB RAM and a 64GB Harddrive. Virtual PC 2008 is the 32 bit version with SP1 installed. Win 7 is also the 32 bit version. -- Dan Rhea |

| | RE: XP Pro Host, VP 2007 SP1, Win 7 Beta having network issues I hate when I end up answering my own questions... Now that I'm not running the virtual system in full screen mode, I noticed "Install or Update Virtual Machine Additions" under the Action menu... I installed, I rebooted, Network issue solved. On the other hand... sound doesn't work... since other people are seeing the same issue, I'll lurk a while and see if it gets solved for someone else. -- Dan Rhea "Dan Rhea" wrote: Quote: > Hi Everyone, > > When I finished my initial install of Windows 7 Beta on a Virtual PC (1Gb of > RAM, 16+ GB disk), everything looked good...
