| | nt loader on WIN XP VHD I am new to VPC2007. I have managed to install Windows XP but I seem to have a problem with the bootloader. I can use the New VPC Wizard to start a session of WIN XP, but if I shutdown or restart, WINXP will not reboot. It can't find the bootloader, so I need to use the wizard all over again. Is there a way to fix the VHD so that it can boot without using the New VCP Wizard? Thanks |

The only use of teh selection of operating system in the wizard is to give you suitable default values for RAM etc for the selected operating system. You need to supply valid (licensed) installation media (CD or DVD or ISO image thereof) and boot from those (boot the virtual machine, that is). Install just like you would on a physical PC. -- Bo Berglund (Sweden) |
