Virtual PC '04 MS-DOS VM failed to boot

I just running DriveSpace in the MS-DOS VM in Virtual PC '04. I interested
to install DriveSpace in the guest, So I run DriveSpace, by typing below:

C:\DRVSpace [enter]

Now the virtual machine refuses to boot from hard disk. MS-DOS halts my
virtual machine with "Too many device block" message.

Any solutions are welcome.
