Virtual PC does not support USB devices for the guest (and in any case AFAIK the
guest cannot use the host's sound card, even if it is not USB).
If you only need to use this sound card occasionally, dual booting may be a
solution for you. If you want to go this route I would recommend a third party
boot manager, such as the excellent BootIt NG.
