Virtual PC running DOS 6.22 keys stop working

Hello,

I am trying to get a old DOS database working with virtual PC 2007 and
I have no idea why the function keys stop working. Here is what I
tried. I have run it on XP with service pack 2 and 3 with the same
results. I have tried different XP PC's with the same results.
Changing the window from full screen to window doesn't fix this and no
I am not using a laptop or keyboard with a function switch. I almost
forgot to mention that I tried virtual PC 2004 also with the same
results.

I am hoping there is something simple that I am overlooking that
someone can help me with.

Thanks
Tom

You say that the function keys "stop working", implying that they work for a
while - is there any pattern to what causes them to stop working...?

That's the thing no pattern and not even one specific function key. I
am stumped.
