Cannot access guest hard drive from host

Hello,

I am having this problem with Vista 64 bits and Virtual PC 6.0.192. I
created a virtual machine with XP Pro SP3 and shared the hard disk.
However, I cannot access that disk from Vista 64 bits using
\\myguesthostname.

What is strange is that I can share directories in the host OS and they
are visible in the guest without problem. In addition, when I run this
same virtual machine but from XP pro as the host OS, I can access the
guest's HD without problem using the same syntax.

What can be the source of the problem??

Thanks!
