Vista - VHD size

I like VirtualPC much better than VMWare, but VHD sizes seem to be limited
to 128GiB. Is there a new VHD format/spec available to have VHD files
larger?

This article is for Virtual Server. However, I would think the VHD
maximums would be the same for VirtualPC. Have you tried creating a VM
whose drive is on a SCSI disk?

It's more that I want to take a physical machine and convert to virtual with
the same size partition which while may be 250G in size, only 4 G is used,
but want the 250G partition, on a dynamic expanding VHD. It wouldn't take
much for them to add 48bit support to the VM and VHD format (maybe a day at
most).

Why do you need 250GB if only 4GB is used? Most disk imaging software
can adapt to a smaller partition size as long as the data amount is
not greater than the partition.
