Guest cannot connect to internet

Hi
I've recently started to use vpc with sp1.
The host is running Windows XP

I've set up a Guest with XP Prof and set Networking to shared - (XP &
networking are ok)
On host I have a BT home hub and host internet works ok.

When I try to access internet with Guest I get - Page cannot be displayed.

Using Guest, I tried to ping news.bbc.co.uk and it failed.
Using Guest, I tried to ping 212.58.226.75 and it was successful. (this is
the ip address of news.bbc.co.uk)

What can I do next?

Please help

Use a public DNS service (enter it on the guest TCPIP properties).

You can for example use opendns.com:
In the TCPIP properties inside the guest click "Use the following DNS
server addresses"
Then enter 208.67.222.222 as the first address and 208.67.220.220 as
the second one.
Now OK out and you should be ready to go.

All depends on the fact thta you could ping by IP number as you said,
then you could do this, otherwise you would have had to fix the host.
