Vista - Installing SQL 2005

I would like to install SQL 2005 on a VMWare virtual Server. I'm looking for
step-by-step instructions because I'm at this. Hope some one can help.

Possibly, either in an SQL2005 forum or in a VMWare community....
But you have posted into a newsgroup for Microsoft Virtual PC, which
is not at all discussing VMWare Server issues!

1) You're in the wrong newsgroup - this one, as its name suggests, is for
Microsoft Virtual PC.

2) You install SQL Server 2005 on a virtual machine in *exactly* the same
way as you install it on a physical machine - there is no difference...

I am trying to install SQL Server 2005 on XP Pro running in a Virtual PC environment. I however, run into and error that states that it cannot be installed into an encrypted or compressed hard disk. How do I change this? Thanks.
