Both of them were unrecognizable in the CD drive by Virtual PC, no matter what I did. Tried to copy both CD's to the desktop and got errors on both. Found an easier solution. Opened Toast and made a copy of the XP Pro disc. Saved it to the desktop. The extension, however, was ".toast", so I simply went in and changed it to ".dmg", which is the image format VPC can use. I went to Virtual PC's "Capture CD Image" on the Drive pulldown menu, found my newly duplicated .dmg file and selected it. Windows XP Pro SP3 is installing as I type. I did, however, have a hang when I tried something similar on a separate HD image last night. For some reason my mouse doesn't work when it gets to around 33 minutes on the install and asks for keyboard layout. I'm not sure what the fix for this would be, but would appreciate your help!
