| | What is the trick to install PCI modem? Hello, I have just bought and installed PCI modem in my host PC: Windows XP without a problem. However, when I want to do the same in my guest (Windows XP): 1. Windows cannot find new hardware (I have activated COM1 and COM2 ports) 2. When manually installing the modem, the installation stops at the blank screen (just after selecting .inf modem's driver file). What can I do to rectify that situation? I have restarted my guest many times to no avail. Thanks, Kathy |
