Vista - raw disk image to vhd disk

Is there a way to convert disks from other formats to .vhd?

I made a raw disk image using the "dd" utility in Linux and want to add this
"disk" it to my VPC. Is there a way?

And is there a way to make and image of a phisical disk/partition directly
to .vhd?

Yes, it's called qemu-img, which is part of
<http://www.nongnu.org/qemu/>. A fairly recent build for Win32 is on my
home page at <http://www.bttr-software.de/qemu/>. I recommend

qemu-img.exe convert -O vpc hda.raw hda.vpc

Have a look at Acronis' True Image product line.

C:\disks>.exe convert -f img FreeNAS-i386-embedded-0.69.4276.img -O vpc nas.vhd
