| | Empy .vhd file after CHKDSK runs --- Please help Hi, I am running VPC on my WinXP laptop. One of the images is a development environment for MOSS 2007. (Windows Server 2K3 + MOSS and Visual Studio 2008). Yesterday when I started my laptop I got the "blue screen" and then Check Disk started. Once done I login in but my development image was "dead". One thing I noticed was that the .vhd file was 0 bytes. No wonder it didn't want to start. So, I far as I can tell the vhd file has been corrupted or at least the "index" to it. Hopefully the file is still on my hard drive and this is all some kind of index problem. Any one recognizes this? Why would a vhd file get corrupted? Could it be too big? If you have any input on why this happened (and maybe some suggestions on how to fix it) I would appreciate it a lot. BR |
