Problems with setting up Virtual Machine

When I start to set up a virtual machine it first goes to this message

"CLIENT MAC ADDR: 00 03 FF 3B 56 26 GUID:
CAFB4BF5-DA07-9D4C-AC45-89B42FC02F1B DHCP....."

Then it flashes on the screen something about no DHCP, then goes to

"Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot
device."

Any ideas what I might be doing wrong. I insert my Windows 95 disk in the CD
drive but nothing happens except the same thing above.

The key to this, as with almost all questions related to Virtual PC, is to
remember that a virtual machine is identical in every respect to a physical
machine as far as the software (both OS and apps) you install on it is
concerned.

So, if you wanted to install Windows 95 on a physical machine, would you be
able to do it with just the Windows 95 CD? Almost certainly not, because the
vast majority of Windows 95 CDs weren't bootable. Therefore, you'd need a
standard Windows 95 boot floppy to begin the installation process.

And a virtual machine is no different. If you don't have a virtual Windows
95 boot floppy, you can download one from Steve Jain's site:
http://vpc.essjae.com/

Remember that you will need to partition the virtual hard disk with FDISK
and then format the active partition with FORMAT - just like on a physical
machine...
