virtual machine 2007 network problem

Hello, everybody,

recently I`ve got new HP machine with vista business 32 bit version
the noborard realtec nic "Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit
Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" is inclooded.

after installing ms vpc 2007 sp1
there is an unknown device in my devices list with no driver for it.
the ms vpc 2007 sp1 says that vpc will work with out lan support
due the error loading virtual pc network drivers

the other hp works with ms vpc 2007 sp1 ok with intel 10/100 nic

does my pc nic hw can compromise the vpc work?

can anybody coment on this?

with best,
Janis Briedis

Have you updated the NIC drivers on your new PC?
If not then I suggest you do this first because it is rather common
that PC:s are delivered with older versions of NIC drivers and these
typically do not work with the VPC network service.
The effect is that you get no networking in your guests...
