| | VPC multiple local networks I'm wondering if it's possible to setup/use multiple local only network in VPC 2007. For example I'd like to have machines that are in site1 and are isolated (if no routing virtual machine is involved) from machines that are in site2. I've previously used Virtual Server, create a new Virtual Network and that seems to have done the trick. The problem is I have some VMs that do not work under Virtual Server (BIOS issue) but work just fine under VPC 2007. I don't see the option I'm looking for anywhere in the interface. Could I perhaps edit any of the .xml files to accomplish this? Any other "trickery" such as creating virtual adapters on the host and using those? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

Then inside the guests set the IP addresses in different subnets like: Net1: 192.168.29.x Mask: 255.255.255.0 Net2: 192.168.33.x Mask: 255.255.255.0 Net3: 192.168.41.x Mask: 255.255.255.0 A PC in Net1 cannot reach a PC in Net2 unless you put a router in the network. -- Bo Berglund (Sweden) |
