| | OS in VPC reboots everytime Hello, For a long time now, i've installed Win2000 as the OS in VirtualPC (2007, SP1 now), never had problems using it until this morning. When I start the VirtualPC with that .vhd file, a reset is done every time while starting up (in my opinion just before the login screen would appear). The vhd contains VB6 projects I need. Is there another tool besides Virtual PC itself to get access to the file system on that vhd file ? Or, how can I resolve the endless loop ? Kind regards Yves |

No, VM did not acquire another boot medium (as far as i can see). Is it possible that re-mapping shared folders from source system (vista) is causing the restart (due to policy config, i had to renew my password on my Vista, the mapped drives in VPC (shared folders to my Vista environment) may have been cached with my former password ?) VPC does not allow me to disconnect before system is entirely running ? kind regards Yves |

Have you made any other system modifiations recently, e.g. installed another software virtualisation tool...? -- Mark Rae ASP.NET MVP http://www.markrae.net |
