| | System Beep? The guest's system beep ( WIN32 Beep() ) is played on the host's external speakers (is that a "feature" of Vista (my guest)?). Is there a way to stop that ... maybe even to get it played on the PC built-in speaker (where it belongs)? -- - Vince |

Do other sounds work in the |vm? My physical machine has a working sound card (disabled on the guest). I assure you that whenever a program running on the physical machine calls the Win32 function Beep(freq, duration) the sound comes from the PC speaker (done it thousands of times) and **never** comes from the sound card. So why, with sound disabled on the guest does Beep() use the sound card? And no other sounds come from the virtual machine. -- - Vince |
