you need to tell us more of the congfiguration
what settings did you use ?
and if you are using VPC 2007 sp1?

VPC 2007 has a service pack?
I cannot find it using google or MSDN.

I solved the problem.
1.
I fired my Vista machine
2.
I found out that oem2.inf is a driver's inf I was looking for.
3.
I started Windows7 machine and updated troubled multimedia audio driver
using oem2.inf file.
Bingo!
I have sound now.

Why am I not in the least surprized? As I was trying to point out earlier the problem is common. But no one said it was mission impossible to solve! If you install Windows enough times you'll run into this quite often where the drivers may need simply a little "encouragement"? in order to go on fully.

oem2.inf is a key to solve the multimedia problem on guest.
I wonder, why no one from the vpc gurus came in with that solution.
Are we still learning?
