I have VPC 2007 SP1 running perfectly on my Dell Vostro running 64-bit Windows 7 RC. (The processor does not support hardware virtualization). Are you sure that you are running the 64-bit version of Win 7 and trying to install the 64-bit version of VPC 2007 SP1? I did not see any warning messages on install, and had no problems creating a vm. I have XP running from an existing .vhd created under VPC running on Vista x64 on a different machine. No problems. The only problem I am aware of with installing VPC 2007 occurs if you have previously tried to install the new version (VPC 7). This has been discussed in the beta ng and I thought it had been discussed here as well. I had not tried that on this machine because I knew it would not work (no hardware virtualization as noted above). I do have VPC 7 under Win 7 RC running on a desktop previously used to beta test Hyper-V (so I knew hardware virtualization worked). |

| | Re: running Virtual PC on Windows 7 with no hardware virtualizatio Thank you All it is now working the problem is that i was installing Virtual PC 2007 and i have already Windows Virtual PC installed. when i uninstall the Windows Virtual PC which is not working because of Sony disabling the VT on my computer. the Virtual PC 2007 SP1 worked fine on Windows 7 RC.
