Unable to register this virtual machine config file

I m having an issue with virtual machine. This started after my XP computer
that runs virtual machine shut down without warning and I got the blue
screen of death. The computer is back up now, but Virtual PC will not let me
run the virtual machine I had created. Keeps giving me the error "Virtual PC
was unable to register this virtual machine configuration file".

Do I need to re-install Virtual PC because of corruption. Am I s.o.l. with
the machine I already created?

Thanks

Just delete the VMC file associated with the virtual machine in
question.
Then in VPC2007 create a new virtual machine and when the wizard comes
to the virtual hard disk, just point it to the VHD file from the
virtual machine you had running.

Now just start the guest and you'll be fine.
No need at all to re-install VPC2007 or such..
