| Vista 64 bit | Guest system wont see my DVD burner I'm running Vista 64bit and tring to run Windows XP 32bit in Virtual PC 2007. Everything is working fine with the exception of 2 things. Everytime i reboot windows xp witin virtual pc i have to reset the resolution, it always goes back to the 256 colours at 800 x 600. Windows xp will not see my DVD burner. It says DVD rom in Windows explorer but it wont read any cd's i put in. I tried clicking on "Take over drive E:" or whatever the function is and it will read regular cd's when i do that. However for some reason when i take control of drive E from within windows xp in virtual pc it changes it to CDRW and only reads regualr cd's it will not read or recognize DVD's. Why? |
