Vista - WindowsXP asking for password

Hi !
I've installed VirtualPc2007 in my PC and then installed WindowsXP. When I
start VirtualPC Windows is asking for password for the Administrator. But I
don't know which password to give.

If you didn't set the password as something specific, have you tried a blank
password?

It has probably been set then.

If a normal user has administrative privileges, you can go into
computer management and enable/reset the password of the
administrator.

That may not hold for customised corporate and manufacturer
specific customised install disks, that are sometimes
bundled with hardware. They may be genuine but
not the same as the retail release.
There are utilities that "claim" 100 percent sucess in
finding and resetting XP administrator password.
May not work on a virtual machine.
SpotMau password finder comes to mind.

I forgot say something: my PC is connected to a network with domain name.
The message received from VirtualPC when starts is something like this:
"System can´t begin session due to the following error: the specified domain
doesn't exist o unable to establish a connection with it"

Did you do a fresh install of the guest OS using installation media, or

(security ID) so the PDC would see the same machine (even with different
IP addresses) trying to login under the same credentials.

Maybe changing SID would help for the guest OS.
