| | Can I install VPC and VirtualBox on the same XP PC ? Status: - I've got Sun's Virtual Box instaleed on an XP PC and it is working. - I've got DOS 6.2 running under VirtualBox and it is working... - but VirtualBox doesn't support the parallel printer port - Now I want to put VPC on the machine... My Question: - Should I uninstall VirtualBox first? (I hope not as it is at least an almost working reference with the old custom DOS application I'm trying to get working) Thanks for any help |

| | Re: Can I install VPC and VirtualBox on the same XP PC ? Yes, you can't, but it would probably be smart not to run them at the same time. If you do want to run them at the same time and you have hardware virtualization, turn it off in one of the virtualization products. -- Bob Comer On Thu, 16 Jul 2009 16:56:34 -0700 (PDT), Mel_3 <myemaillist@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >Status: >- I've got Sun's Virtual Box instaleed on an XP PC and it is working. >- I've got DOS 6.2 running under VirtualBox and it is working... >- but VirtualBox doesn't support the parallel printer port >- Now I want to put VPC on the machine... > >My Question: >- Should I uninstall VirtualBox first? > >(I hope not as it is at least an almost working reference with the old >custom DOS application I'm trying to get working) > >Thanks for any help |
