    Windows Virtual PC Parformance

    Hi
Does someone happen such a phenomenon?

High Spec CPU machine dosen't Work Fast compared with a slow machine.
Because High Spec PC's Virtual PC is Very High CPU Usage.
High Spec is Core2Duo 2.5Ghz+ GM45 Express Chipset , Low Spec is Core2Duo
    2.1Ghz+965 Chipset.

    Thanks

    Re: Windows Virtual PC Parformance

I have windows Virtual PC Running XP Pro on my laptop with a Turion X2 @ 2.1GHz and it runs amazingly fast. It could jsut be the install or a hardware thing causing it to be slow. Also a fast computer can be Fast in one operation and seem slow in another...its a matter of perspective.

You did not specify the RAM assigned to the virtual machine. That could make a difference too.

Physical disk performance also appears to be a huge factor in how fast your
    virtual machines run.

Indeed, moving it off the drive where the host OS will help a good
    deal too.
