Virtual PC RC Windows 7

Does Virtual PC run Windows 7, including sound etc. ?

It can.

Make sure you have the 32-bit version of Win7.

When setting up the VM using the Virtual Machine wizard, select Vista
is the OS, and then when Win7 is all set up, make sure and install the
VPC additions, and you should have working sound.

You wont have the aero interface though, it'll look like Win7 Basic.
