Windows 7 RC always fails first boot on VPC2004

Running VPC 2004 and setup the latest Windows 7 RC. It would alway crash
when I enabled hardware virtualization for setup, but after setup it seems
to run OK except it crashes seconds after the OS starts up.

Start VPC 2004
Start up the VM with Windows 7
Seconds after the completion of the BIOS screen, the VPC reboots
On the reboot I get prompted to Repair or Start Normally
If I start normally, it runs fine.

If I turn of the Hardware virtualization the VPC does not do this.

Re: Windows 7 RC always fails first boot on VPC2004

When you say "it would crash" are you talking about Virtual PC, the
guest operating system or the entire computer?
