| | VHD File Size Has anyone had this issue? I am trying to comapact a VHD file which is a dynamically expanding disk and it is a "Version 1" vhd disk. I have run a defragmenting program on the virtual machine (XP Home) and have used the "Pre-compacting" iso and then went to the console to compact it for the third step and I cannot get this file below 22gigs...and I know there is not 22 gigs on this virtual machine. Other vhd versions I have compacted successfully are a "Version 5.3" vhd...why should it matter what version it is? Any ideas much appreciated. Thank you. |
