Re: Office 2007 does not install on Server 2008 Virtual Machine

I am trying to install Office 2007 Enterprise, and yes, the windows desktop
experience feature is installed on the VM w2k8 server (x32 SP2).
Another issue is that I can shrink the VM but cannot expand it. Is there
anything I should edit in the .vmc xml file?
The host is Vista Business x32 SP2, but other VM work ok.

Thank you,

Sorry, I was not clear. I meant expanding the actual window of the VM.
It's very annoying, can make it smaller, but not bigger.

Please be more specific!
What size are you trying to attain?
Which version of VPC2007 are you using?

There are limitations to the video emulation in a VPC2007 guest that
has been somewhat improved in VPC2007SP1, but you still cannot expect
whatever kind of video mode.
So what is the exact size you want to use?

Re: Office 2007 does not install on Server 2008 Virtual Machine

Change the screen resolution of the VM guest. Higher resolution = larger
screen.

Increasing the resolution from within the guest will increase the size of
the vm window.

Thanks, that did the trick, but drag and drop from the host to the guest
does not work any more. Any ideas, Please?
