Licensing Windows 7 in VM Environments

There exists a document entitled: "Licensing Windows Vista for Use with
Virtual Machine Technologies" that can be found at:
http://www.microsoft.com/licensing/a...ng-briefs.aspx.
This stipulates that a Vista license can be used up to 4 times in VM's (as
below) for particular versions of Vista (Enterpise, Ultimate with SA). Is
there a similar document for Windows 7? If not, is anyone aware of the
licensing terms? Also, we only require licenses for 10 workstations so we
are not a volume customer - how can I obtain licenses to install multiple
(4) VM's on just one of my machines or must I purchase 4 extra Windows 7 Pro
licenses?
Thx,
Kim.

· You may run on the licensed device at any one time one copy, or
instance, of the software directly on the hardware (the physical operating
system environment) and up to four instances of the software in virtual
machines. You may create and store an unlimited number of copies (for
example, copies in VMs) for use on any licensed device.

As with most licensing questions, only Microsoft or one of their
resellers can answer that (and even then it probably depends on who you talk
to).

My guess is that you will need four Win 7 licenses.
