Did you do a full, power-off reboot after upgrading to RC1? Also, make sure
you don't have any AV product running on the parent partition.
If all else fails, try:
1.) uninstalling the Hyper-V role
2.) Reboot as requested.
3.) go into the BIOS and verify that you have NX enabled. And that the
hardware virtualization is turned on. (This is a good time to check that you
have the latest BIOS as well. )
4.) power off.
5.) power on. Install the RC1 update if you haven't already. Reboot as
requested
6.) Install the Hyper-V role. Reboot as requested.
