| | install loopback adapter on vista ultimate i installed loopback adapter on my vista ultimate machine. I configure the ip to 192.168.50.1/255.255.255.0 however, i am getting a Limited Connectivity from the adapter. does anyone know how to fix it? i had set up a virtual pc on another xp environemnt and had no problem on the connection. Don't know if there is any vista thing i am missing. thanks in advance. |

The thing is the loopback adapter has a limited connection in vista, but i had the adpater setup on another Xp machine, it has 10mbps. also, when i try to fix the problem through vista, it tells me that the adapter has incorrect ip configuartion. I assign an ip address and masking it as 192.168.50.1/255.255.255.0. and the rest are the same as i set up on xp.
