    RC1 update in a cluster

    Hello,

Im running Hyper V RC0 in a 2 node failover cluster. I want to update to
RC1. Node A has no running VMs on it and so i plan to do this first. Then i
will failover the VMs over to the updated node and update the integragtion
components for each VM, apart from one which i need to schedule downtime
for. In a failover cluster does it matter if i am running RC0 and RC1 on
each node? I plan to leave it like this for a few days.

    Regards

I went through those same step for RC0 to RC1 and then from RC1 to RTM
without too many problems. I did the 2 nodes in less than an hour however,
but I did do multiple failovers between the nodes when they were at
different revision levels and they continued to work correctly. Not sure if
Microsoft would recommend leaving them that way for a number of days, but it
seems to be possible. Why the wait between upgrading the nodes? From what
I have experienced, the upgrades have gone very nicely.
