Is there any compatibility issue between 2005 R2 and 2005 R2 SP1 f

I have Virtual Server 2005 R2 and plan to upgrade to 2005 R2 SP1. I wonder
whether the virtual server files I backed up for each instance can be
restored to 2005 R2 SP1. When I upgrade to 2005 R2 SP1, does the virtual
server files of each instance get upgraded too or not?

They should, but make sure the VM's are in a shut down stat, rather
than a saved state before upgrading or restoring an old VM.

No, you have to update the additions after the upgrade to Virtual
Server, however, they should continue to function until you have time
to update them.
