| | Microsoft.VirtualServer.Interop.dll and the Microsoft.VMRCClientControl.Interop.dll What are the Interop.dll's used for? In VS2005 R2 SP1 one of the requirements is to have .Net Framework 2.0 installed for the Interop.dll's to be automatically registered in the GAC. In a Virtual Server Farm environment does .Net 2.0 need to be installed on the VS Host side as well as the VS Admin Web Side. Are they only used for "creating client applications that automate the deployment and operation of virtual machines", as mentioned in the .chm. Are there any problems with not installing the .Net 2.0 and registering the Interop.dll's? |
