Vista - Max volume size - Cluster readiness

Hiya,

Is there a maximum volume size on VS2005 R2?

I am in the progress of migrating the file data to a VS Guest and trying to
figure out if it's better to create a disk per share or create 1 disk to
host all shares?I'm looking at approx 1.5 TB.

We are planning to eventually cluster the VS's so have the quorum and shared
area on our san. To add a scsi controller and disk in excess of 127GB i need
to add a scsi controller to the guest. Does this mean the guest can only
have 1 volume on the shared scsi controller?

I currently have a virtualized cluster and am quite happy with it, however
like yourself have found that I can only put one disk onto a shared scsi
controller. You can however have multiple shared scsi controllers with out
any negative effects.

I could be wrong but I believe that the issue is by design.
