Virtual server or Virtual PC 2007

Hi all,

I'm using virtual machines in my local PC, and I use it, like a development
..net enviroment (it means, not like a server, not remote connections, etc)

Well,
what virtual "version" advise me? I'm using virtual PC 2007 SP1, but it
works slow.

A last question: Can you give me a link with information about HyperV?, I
only need a clearly and simply description about what is, advantages and what
can i do whit it

Thanks a lot.

Re: Virtual server or Virtual PC 2007

Have you installed the VM Additions?

The guest OS is VERY slow until you do. Afterwards it will run almost the
native speed of the physical hardware.

Re: Virtual server or Virtual PC 2007

Yes, I have installed VMA. and defrag virtual disk. May be, the performance
it's correct with 2Gb RAM (visual studio 2008 + win vista), but in my opinion
it's too slow to work with agility...

what about hyper-v???

thanks
