| | Built a Windows 2008 Fail over Cluster running Hyper-V: articlesavailable if you are interested Hi all, Over the last week I have built a fail-over cluster using two identical servers and an iSCSI SAN to create a small NAS to host the shared storage. The cluster is now successfully hosting the Hyper-V role, meaning that my virtual machines can be shifted from one node to the other, and as such are 'higly available'. It was great fun to do! In case you are interested in such things; I've written two articles about the experience, what hurdles I've had to take and still remain within a budget of 1500 Euro, the articles can be found here: http://www.servercare.nl/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=67 There's no ads or other catches, I just like to share what I've learned. I hope it is of use to you. regards, -- / ) Regards, / /_________ _|__|__) Paul Weterings / (O_) http://www.servercare.nl __/ (O_) ____(O_) |
