| | Virtual Network Adapter Missing W2003 server I created a windows 2003 server virtual machine in hyper v. The virtual network adapter is missing in the virtual machine, If I open device manager it shows an ethernet adapeter not configured (! driver missing). How can I set the a virtual network adapter to connect the vm to my external network. Thanks in advance. |

This will load the driver for the synthetic NIC driver used by Hyper-V. Without the ICs you will need to install a legacy network adapter. This is the adapter used in VPC/Virtual Server. |
