Vista - Installing Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 to SBS 2008

I was able to install Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1 to Small Business Server
2008 64-bit no problem, however, when I try to bring up the admin web page,
I always need to run IE as administrator. Otherwise, I have no control of
the guest OS. If I bring up the web admin page from another computer, I
have no control of guest OS whatsoever.

Is there any way to get around this?

Am I wrong, but doesn't SBS 2008 include Hyper-V? Why would you use Virtual
Server over Hyper-V in 2008. Only reason I can think of is if the hardware
doesn't support Hyper-V.

Did you try turn off UAC and see if that helps? I found UAC interferes with
some consoles like SCOM and SCC, but never tried Virtual Server on 2008.

No, SBS 2008 does NOT include Hyper-V. MS made a (good) decision to not
support virtualization with SBS as the host/parent. It _is_ supported as a
guest/child, and if you have SBS 2008 Premium you can use the included
Second Server as a Hyper-V parent and virtualize both servers. But you can
not use the main SBS server as a parent or virtual host.

Actually, it's saying you CAN use the second server in SBS Premium. The key
is the word PREMIUM. That includes a full copy of Windows Server 2008
Standard for a second server. If you choose to use the 64-bit version of
Server 2008 Standard, you can leverage that second server as a hyper-v
parent for your SBS network. You can virtualize both servers if you want, or
run the main SBS server on physical hardware and the second server as a
virtual host. But you can NOT run the main SBS server as a hyper-v parent.
