| | How do I get addition CPU cores to register. Hello, This is on Server Ent 2008 with Hyper-V. Hardware is a quad core CPU. I have an existing win2008 x32 bit OS that was runing on Virtual Server. I have migrated it over to hyper-V using the VMC to hyper-v converter. the machine runs fine but with only one CPU showing in task manager. Properties shows it recognises the quad CPU A clean build of a new hyper-v client server 2008 shows 4 CPUs in task manager. I can't figure out how to get addition CPUs in the converted client. Set CPUs in setting to 2 and 4 and rebooted but still only one CPU. Any hints or clues would be good. thanks. |
