Processors in Hyper-V

I have two quad-core intel processor on my hp dl380g5 server with Windows
2008 Enterprise and the Hyper-V role installed. In Hyper-V I can only see one
processor and that gives me up to 4 logical processors to allocate to a
virtual machine. Does anyone know why Hyper-V is not listing two quad-core
processors with the option to choose up to 8 logical processors. I have
applied the following updates: KB950050-x64 and KB956710-v2-x64 to my systems
and rebooted with still no luck.

Thanks

Re: Processors in Hyper-V

Make sure you have the latest BIOS from HP. I've got a DL380G5 here, with
dual quad cores, and I'm seeing 8 processors. Now Hyper-V will only allocate
up to 4 processors to any particular VM. But it still uses all 8 processors.
