| | Virtual PC networking questions Hi folks I need to set up 3 Virt. PC's. 1 - dns and domain controller. 2 others are just server which will be later used for windows cluster installation. It is testing setup. I use company pc which has dedicated ip address and i try to avoid asking and using 3 real ip addresses for my setup. With that purpose in mind, I set up vm1, installed domain controller on it, assigned ip: 10.1.1.1 subnet: 255.255.255.0 dns: 10.1.1.1 and used network setting 'shared networking on Virt. PC console. vm2: 10.1.1.2 subnet: 255.255.255.0 dns: 10.1.1.1 and used network setting 'shared networking on Virt. PC console. Vm1 and vm2 do not see each other. What should i change in this set up to make it work and then being able to install 3rd vm? |

| | Re: Virtual PC networking questions No, you cannot use shared networking to do that. What you should do is put all of the vms in Local Only.
