Virtual Memory

Is it possible to allocate Virtual memory to VM's? I know this is possible
with VMWare, it is somewhat convient if your server cannot handle more than
4gb of ram but still has some proc unallocated.

Re: Virtual Memory

No, it's not possible with Virtual Server or Virtual PC.

Re: Virtual Memory

What is possible is to install the Host on the Enterprise version of Windows
server, that supports more than 4 GB of RAM. With the Enterprise version
installed on the host you are allowed 4 Virtual guests (Enterprise and
Standard) running under the Host's Enterprise license, no separate license
needs to be purchased for the guests running on the Enterprise server like
what would be necessary if you were to run those same virtual guests with
the host running the Standard version of Windows server.

Best bet for the money is to run Virtual Server on a host that is running
the Enterprise version of Windows.
