How do I restart the guest OS after a shut-down?

After I shut-down the guest (W2k3) OS, I can't get VS2005 R2 to restart the
guest OS. What am I missing here?

TIA

Hmm, not running VS any more, but if I remember correctly, you simply right
click the VM in the admin console, and select Start.

That's how to start the VM, but do you start the stopped/shut-down guest OS
on the VM?

The OS on the VM should see that as a power one event. IME, that causes it
to boot and load the OS.

How do you start an OS on a real computer? Same thing for a guest.

Re: How do I restart the guest OS after a shut-down?

Good point.
For some reason, on my system, the VM would start but the guest OS would
not.
My searches failed to find any references to this situation, leading me to
belive it's an isolated case, probably a configuration issue as I'm a VS
novice.

Have you ever encountered this?
