| | Internal Network Hey all. I've created a private internal network on Hyper-V. (I want to isolate this from my production network for testing purposes). I am using VMM 2008 to share ISO images, but can't figure out how to share exe or other software packages. In other words, there has to be a way for me to copy files from the HOST to all the VM in the private network. Any thoughts? |

| | Re: Internal Network First, did you create a Private network, or an Internal network? They are different. If Internal, then you can copy files across the connection between the Parent partition and the child, but the child has no access beyond the actual parent. If Private, then there is no access to any physical computers at all, only between children on the same parent. In the case of a Private network, your only recourse is via ISOs. In the case of an Internal one, you can copy files across from the Parent to the children. But there is still no access to any computer on the rest of your production network, since the Internal network type doesn't connect to any physical NIC. -- Charlie. http://msmvps.com/blogs/xperts64 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile/charlie.russel "Jose" <jose_moreno74@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:%23qGOBs4XJHA.1528@xxxxxx Quote: > Hey all. > > I've created a private internal network on Hyper-V. | | Re: Internal Network Thanks. I created a VHD and mounted it on my production network, copied all the software i needed, dismounted and remounted on my isolated network. A workaround i guess.
