| | How to Create VHD image My Virtual Server 2005 R2 only has a CD drive, not a DVD drive. I am trying to create a Vista image from a Vista DVD (subscription advantage). Is there some way to create the new VM by pointing it to a network resource as its boot drive? Or do I need to create an .iso something or other? Or what is the best way to do this? Thanks |

Vista DVD into a DVD drive, create an ISO, copy it to your virtual server, mount it into the guest, boot, and install. -- Paul Adare MVP - Identity Lifecycle Manager http://www.identit.ca |
