virtual machines on C drive........

I have installed virtual server 2005 on the E drive. I created a new
machines using the default setup. It defaulted to the C drive. I wanted my
virtual machines to be on the E drive. I know it is possible. Any
suggestions?

Thanks,

Re: virtual machines on C drive........

To get the default to be something other than the C: drive, open the
Virtual Server website, go to "Server Properties", then "Search
Paths", then put you new default path in the top box, "Default virtual
machine folder".

It wont change what you already have, only new stuff. The easiest way
to move them to the new path, is to move the VHD's to the new path and
recreate the VM's.
