| | virtual network adapters show 10Gb instead of the actual 100Mb networkspeed I have one guest OS (Windows 2003) setup on a Windows 2008 server hyper-v role. The virtual network adapter somehow shows 10Gbps as network speed and the same speed is showing in the guest OS. Is this a normal behavior? The actual network speed is 100Mbps for our network. MS went with 10Gbps because anything else would have come back with complaints about it being slow...i.e. when VPC displayed 10Mbps on 100Mbps host NICs, when the next version of VPC displayed 100Mbps on 1Gbps host NICS there was a lot of noise about how to get VPC/VS to run at the host NICs speed.
